Harry Hershberger, 52, died at his home on a farm near Veedersburg at noon Friday, following influenza. He was born on a farm south of Hillsboro June 26 1877 and was a farmer all his life. Surviving are the widow who was formerly Miss Bytha Campbell; three sons and two daughters, William, George, Roland, Goldie and Gladys, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Allen of Carothersville and Mrs. Clara Hershberger of Hillsboro and a brother Ed Hershberger of Hillsboro. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon. Harry L. Hershberger, age 53, passed away at his home three and one half miles south of Veedersburg Friday, March 28. His funeral was held Sunday March 30th at 2 o'clock at Osborn's prairie church, Rev. Chas. Howard officiating. Interment was made in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery. -- obit from Betty D
